Welcome to my resources page! This is all the stuff I use. I can’t recommend these websites and tools enough.
I have personally used every recommendation on this page. I am currently using many of the resources listed here. They are extremely important to maintaining consistent growth and engagement. Some may not currently be in use but were while building my online presence.

Knowledge Management Resources
I use Readwise to rip all my notes from Kindle, Apple Books, Medium, and elsewhere. It then ports them all to Obsidian (mentioned below). All of that is automated for me. Sign up here, and you’ll get a free month (I also get a free month).
Obsidian is my “Inbox” of sorts. I put all my notes and other info in there before moving it to DEVONthink 3 (mentioned below). I don’t use the paid version. Free is for me.
DEVONthink 3 is where I organize my thoughts, research, and write. It does cost money, but it’s a one-time purchase. I’m not too fond of subscriptions.
Website Hosting Resources
If you’re going to be a successful musician, you need to have a website. Not just to show off your music but to attract fans, too. So, I recommend A2 for hosting and their easy one-click WordPress install (that’s what this site is hosted on).
Email Marketing Resources
ConvertKit is, hands down, the best service for keeping your followers engaged. Of course, I’ve used a lot of different ones (such as MailChimp, which is free). After all the free and paid services I’ve tried, this one has the most features for the lowest price. ConvertKit has a better user experience than most services (in and outside email).
Safety, Security, and Privacy Resources
BACK UP YOUR WORK. I had to put that all in caps to ensure you understand that you need to back up everything you create. Imagine putting days, weeks, and months of work into a project only to have your hard drive fail. I used to keep an on-site physical hard drive backup, but even that failed me.
That’s why I signed up for Backblaze. It’s cheap ($5/mo per computer…external hard drives included! No limit on storage size) and backs up your entire computer, so it’s a no-brainer.
I have all my stuff on two computers backed up there, which only costs me $10/mo total, and one of those computers has a 2TB internal drive plus a 5TB external drive, which is where I store all my digital stuff. Imagine how terrible my life would be if that hard drive failed 🙁
Travel Resources
Lodging
When attending conferences, I use Airbnb to find a place to stay. It always ends up being the more affordable route wherever I go. There was a promotion for a free $40 credit if you signed up through that link, but it may have ended by now.
Plus, it feels more like a “home” than a hotel. I find I’m far more relaxed and productive in those environments.
Email Lists That Will Help You Succeed
The Hustle – This is my absolute favorite email list to be on. They send great articles to your email, often related to the tech industry. If you are interested in being in the tech industry, keeping up to date through The Hustle is a great way to do it.
Marketing Brew – My second favorite email list to be on. I’ve learned more actionable marketing strategies from this list than any other.
